Personal move manager
- An experienced Move Manager to manage the move
- Create a Personal Move Plan
- Single point of contact; speak to the same person each time

Removals & Storage
- Recommend reputable removal companies suitable for move
- Arrange for removal companies to visit home to give quote
- Arrange parking bay suspension
- After instruction manage any changes/cancellations that may arise
- Arrange any storage requirements
- Arrange for unwanted items to be removed
Home telephone
- Manage entire process of transfer of account
- Ensure current telephone account is shut down at time chosen by mover
- Ensure new telephone account is live at requested time on day of move
- Confirm new telephone and account numbers
Broadband
- Manage entire process of transfer of the account
- Advise when service will be live in new home
- Confirm any new account numbers
Gas & Electricity
- Provide list of all gas and electricity suppliers at new home showing average annual bill
- Set up new accounts with provider chosen by mover
- Text/remind mover on moving day to take final meter readings
- Shut down accounts with final meter readings
- Arrange for final bill to be forwarded to new address
Water
- Shut down water account
- Set up water account
- If either property metered provide serial number and advise on location of meter
Council tax
- Close current local council tax account
- Open new local council tax account
- Apply for any exemptions/reductions from paying council tax (empty house, second home etc.)
Parking permits
- Return any outstanding parking permits to old local council for refund
- Provide filled-in application for parking permit in new borough
- Advise what identification is required for temporary permit
Satellite/Cable
- Transfer current satellite/cable service
- Book new satellite/cable service
Security & Privacy
- Arrange locksmith to change locks at new home on moving day
- Arrange free security survey at new home
- Stop junk mail
